Keter Netherlands is part of the Keter Group which is a global company with a global presence in Europe, NA and Israel. Keter designs, manufactures and markets premium and sustainable resin products for home and garden. Well-known brands in The Netherlands are for instance Jardin garden furniture and Curver food containers.
The Dutch Keter organization is based in Rijen, The Netherlands – between Breda and Tilburg. The organization consists of a production facility (the largest injection molding operation in The Netherlands), but also of departments focused on logistics, customer service, marketing and sales. For now we employ more than 200 people.
Job Summary Product Marketing Manager – EU Outdoor Furniture & Planters
The goal of Product Marketing Manager is to translate Market trends and customer needs into an innovative product strategy that contributes to the strategic growth objectives of the organization. The Product Marketing Manager will build and implement a product roadmap, improving and launching products that are successful in the ever-evolving markets.
The Product Marketing Manager is the bridge between the Category and the Market. The position reports to the Business Development Director EU and IR, Outdoor Furniture & Planters
Objectives
- Build a long-term profitable strategy and become the expert of the category - “a center of excellence”
- Identify, anticipate and answer customer & consumer needs
- Provide tools & implement actions to achieve the Keter Group objectives
Main Responsibilities
- Manage with autonomy the product portfolio:
- Regular product portfolio analysis and closely monitoring of the product lifecycle of the F&P assortment based on sales and profitability.
- Signal which products need to be optimized / phased out / replaced.
- Have a proactive role in the NPD pipe management: from idea generation, project brief, product development phases follow up, launch plan, up to communication package. Close work with R&D, factories, markets, finance & business development.
- Gathering knowledge and insight into trends and developments in the market.
- Collect, analyze and process competitive and retail information regarding assortments and prices (market research, fairs, shop visits).
- Identify end-consumer evolutions and business opportunities.
- assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of current and potential competitors.
- Translate the data into strategic and tactical actions for the product line.
- Define the category marketing strategy (3years plan), supported by the Business Development director.
- Elaborate and implement the yearly marketing plan for the category, in coordination with the various stakeholders.
- Manage the marketing activities with the support of Brand Management, such as: photo shooting, catalogues, tradeshows, videos, website, packaging exposure, POS, content, product presentation power point.
- Develop promotional marketing campaigns to drive sales of existing product concepts in collaboration with the markets.
- Act as a central point of contact for Market units/ Trade Marketeers in the different sales regions (product assortment, positioning, training).
- Set up and manage its marketing budget.
- Follow developments in sustainability and translation into our products.
Job Requirements
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
