Your Role:
Our company is quite unique, we produce as one of the few vacuum cleaner bags with our own plant in Spijkenisse; millions of vacuum cleaner bags! We deliver from this production line throughout Europe. The production line is operated by our operators and you as a Production employee will help to keep this line running smoothly.
During production you continuously replenish all raw materials for the articles and make sure that the production line does stand still. You also stack and sort the finished products at the end of the line, and clear the full pallets at the location. It is important to keep a good eye on the numbers produced and to indicate this to the operator.
We strive for the best product quality and therefore you and the operator carry out random checks to monitor the quality of our products. In case of defects you discuss this with the operator and the line is further optimized.
To guarantee quality and reliability we also have (regular) maintenance on the line. Where possible you will also help with this maintenance and cleaning of the production line and workplace.
Besides the above activities you can also work within our logistic processes in which you store, pick and collect products. In short an all-round position in a compact team.
The activities:
- Ensuring sufficient stock as input for the production line
- Sorting and stacking the end products
- Support in keeping the production line running
- Doing spot checks and quality control of the products during the process
- Cleaning up and maintaining the workstations and production line according to the guidelines
- Supporting the Operators in all activities and maintenance.
- Various logistical tasks, such as inbound, picking and collecting.
- And all further occurring activities within the production and logistics of Vacustock
Job requirements:
- You have affinity with production and technology and enjoy producing
- You are a hard worker who likes to contribute
- You can think in steps and execute them in the same way
- You are available 40 hours a week in 3 shifts
- You are accurate, take initiative and are a go-getter
- You enjoy working in a team and achieving results together
- You write and speak Dutch or English
- You have a forklift certificate (or are willing to obtain one)
