We are currently seeking an experienced front-of-house staff member for our small izakaya bar located in Amsterdam. The position requires your availability on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 16:00 to around 22 or 23:00. Please note that the end time may vary depending on the level of business and the need for your assistance earlier during service.
Your responsibilities will begin at 16:00 when you'll work alongside the owners to set up the izakaya before service starts at 18:00. During this time, you'll also assist the chef with some straightforward prep tasks. There will be a 15-minute break for food and other necessities before we commence service at 18:00.
We are specifically seeking someone with experience and a background in Asian cuisine. The ideal candidate will be capable of guiding and explaining our menu offerings, including both food and select beverages. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the waiting list by calling patrons when the venue is full.

You can work either as a freelancer or under a contract. On a freelance basis, the rate is 17 euros, excluding tax and tips. If you choose to work under a contract, we offer 15 euros gross per hour, excluding tips. This rate also includes your vacation pay.
